Several mycologists worked with Pollock to isolate and cross the Penis Envy variant. Several distinct sub-variants have resulted, both from purposeful strain crossing efforts and due to some very odd mutations which were propagated, including Albino Penis Envy, Penis Envy Uncut, Texas Penis Envy and many others. The Albino Penis Envy variant has a milky white coloration similar to the Albino PF variety. On average, albino Penis Envy mushrooms are smaller than Penis Envy mushrooms. 
Albino Penis Envy Uncut magic mushrooms have a unique physical feature: their caps never open, even though the mushroom is fully mature. Caps are also noticeably darker than "normal" Penis Envy. They're also said to be the strongest of all the Penis Envy strains. Although the physical properties of both of these mutants vary, the potency of all Penis Envy mushroom strains is consistently higher than that of all other P cubensis magic mushroom strains.
